Tea set- stoneware

This tea set I made exclusively for myself and my guests. I made the teapot ergonomically comfortable to pour, the lips of the tea-bowls soft on the mouth, and the sides of everything so that they fit into the hand comfortably.

I take pride in making things that fit- that feel right, that suit a situation or a person. There is an art to that, and it takes as much or more sensativly, certainly empathy as "Fine Art" does. Honestly, I am often as picky about my "craft" as I am about my "Art".
